My Pro Game Tips 4 HKings

Hi all Hustle Kings fans. I thought I'd share a few of my game tips for you all to try beat me (haha). My name on PS3 online is d3434_ww34 . I will never disconnect while playing anyone online and willing to play anyone that's at least got a few ranking points. Anyway here are some of my playing tips :-

1. Some of you may think this is a little cheat (gereral knowledge) but my advice is for you to tape a couple of pieces of short straight cardboard at both sides of the analogue stick. This improves your chances of not miss cuing so much and lets you deliver your cue in a straight line. It does not completely get rid of miss cues but greatly increases your chances of not miss cuing so often.

2. Always before taking on a shot consider your options. Try to play for more than one ball at a time when potting for position.

3. My favourite type of shots are developing balls. If you have any balls tied up which can't be potted always look at the balls you do have available to pot and see if they provide angle to develop bad balls with the white while potting. Most develop shots require a little bit of power but also consider where you think the developed balls will finish. I play most shots with either top spin or backspin with side(english also applied).

4. You may notice that I play nearly all my shots with various amounts of side(english) applied to the cue ball. I do this to swerve the white slightly to manufacture the correct potting angles while aiming. When I press circle to fine tune a potting angle the exact angle may not be on so I use the various amounts of side to swerve slightly the white to provide that extra little bit of aim which wasn't there while aiming. Remember if you apply left on white the white will swerve left depending on how much left you apply, same goes for right spin.

5. Always play with safety in mind if you are not guaranteed to pot a ball, leave the white where it makes opponents shot awkward. This also applies to finishing a run, try to leave white behind one of your balls in positioning for the next one if the pot does miss. You must use these techniques when games come to an intense finish. Also helps to block pockets with your balls to gain advantage of the table.

Ok well that's enough of my professional pool tips for now. I hope you all have fun in practising them to become as good as myself, just don't beat me hehe.

Oh and I agree that I don't like also players who always use the top spin technique in aligning their shots as it is easier this way and I never do it unless tight up against a cushion where you have to. You wouldn't do this in real life aiming anyway.
